Kimberly Augustin is a watercolor artist who’s currently livening in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She believes everyone is a creative being — we were all created to create. She hopes to one day make a creative space for people to come for inspiration, guidance, support and community. Inspired by nature, her art represents the calm, and peace she strives for each day, and hopes you can feel it too.
Artist Statement
My name is Kimberly Augustin and I’m an artist based in Minneapolis, MN.
Since I was a young girl, I have been fascinated by the natural world around me – the vibrant colors and textures of nature have always been a source of inspiration for me. As an adult, I’ve been drawn to watercolor painting, which allows me to capture these colors and textures in a gentle, simple and impactful way.
My goal as an artist is to capture the beauty of nature through watercolor and share it with people from around the world. I’m always looking for ways to use my work to inspire positive change in the world around us. As well as inspire all people to find the artist that lives within us all. I believe that everyone is an artist, and that art can be used to inspire others. Through my work, I strive to open people’s eyes to the beauty of the natural world and to instill a sense of awe and wonder.
